Who We Are

Calder Review is an independent editorial publication based in Melbourne, Victoria. We produce detailed, consumer-oriented reviews of food supplements and wellness products available in Australia. Our editorial team assesses products on objective, measurable criteria - ingredient quality, ease of use, taste, and value for money - and publishes scored verdicts with full transparency about our methodology.

We are not affiliated with any supplement manufacturer. Products reviewed by Calder Review are purchased at retail price or provided as unsolicited samples; in both cases, we disclose the source. We do not accept payment for editorial placement or positive reviews.

Our Review Standards

Every product review on Calder Review adheres to the following principles:

  • EFSA-aligned claims only. We only report nutrient structure/function claims that are supported by recognised scientific opinions. We do not repeat or endorse disease claims, unverifiable efficacy statistics, or miracle outcomes.
  • No dark patterns. We do not use countdown timers, artificial scarcity, or before/after body comparisons in our editorial content.
  • Honest scoring. Our scorecard ratings reflect genuine panel assessment. We disclose when reviewers have differing views.
  • Prominent disclaimers. All supplement content carries clear disclaimers that the products are food supplements - not medicines - and that individual results vary.
